Phoenix Mushroom

Phoenix mushroom has a delicate, silky soft, non-chewy texture and mild fragrance. With its high fibre and protein contents that is full of essential amino acids, yet low in calories and chloresterol, this mushroom provides a healthy alternative protein source to meat and beans. They are also known to be excellent sources for Vitamin B2 (riboflavin), B3 (niacin) and minerals. Since Phoenix Mushroom is quite thin and flat, it cooks very quickly. This makes it ideal for stir-fry, salad and spicy soup such as Tom Yum Goong.
